At NASA Kennedy Space Center's Launch Pad 39A, crews will power up space shuttle Endeavour's payload, the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer-2 (AMS) today in preparation for testing, which will take place over the weekend.
Teams have concluded, with an additional walk down of the pad, that there was no new damage following a storm earlier this week.
NASA managers will hold a Flight Readiness Review on Tuesday, April 19, to assess the ground and flight team's readiness to support launch. An official launch date will be announced at the conclusion of the meeting.
Endeavour's STS-134 mission is targeted for launch at 3:47 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 29.
